Reading Wen hair reviews are a great way to inform yourself as much as possible before you buy Wen hair products. It’s important to use your head when going over these reviews though. Here are a few questions you should ask yourself.

Did the reviewer follow the instructions to a T?
Has the reviewer tried the product only once or for several weeks/months?
Is the reviewers hair comparable to yours?

Also keep in mind that everyone has different hair. What works for one person may not work for you.

So in the end, Wen hair reviews should only be thought of as a guideline.

Wen Hair Reviews on Amazon

5.0 out of 5 stars Super for color-treated ‘mature’ hair!, May 24, 2009

This Wen hair review is from: WEN Fig Cleansing Conditioner – 1 Gallon (Health and Beauty)

Yes, WEN Cleansing Conditioners are more expensive than other shampoos, HOWEVER, even though I keep my long hair permanently colored, I no longer have to use a separate conditioner, and seldom an extra-deep conditioner that used to be required on a weekly basis. The Fig [moisturizing] formula does not have as nice a scent as the Sweet Almond, but my hair responds better to the more intense moisturizing properties of the Fig product. I highly recommend ALL the WEN Cleansing Conditioners – I’ve now converted my entire family to them! YOUR’S GOING TO LOVE HOW YOUR HAIR FEELS!!!

I get this shampoo from QVC normally, but will now order thru amazon.com for cheaper shipping and the larger size. it’s amazing… especially for completely eliminating tangles in my daughter’s hair. i use this and can comb right thru no snags. it’s the best shampoo i’ve ever used and will continue using it forever.

Wen shampoo reviews from: WEN Lavender Cleansing Conditioner – 32oz (Health and Beauty)
I got the WEN sample pack, and found the Lavender was by far the best match for my fine, oily hair. I was really hoping that at some point in my life I’d be able to go a day between shampoos. There was not enough in the small sample bottle to really give this product a chance to work, so I got this jumbo size.

I’ve been using this for a month now, and I still have to wash my hair at least once every 24 hours or look like an oil slick. That is a big disappointment. Also, I began to have fairly substantial problems with dermatitis on my fingers after two weeks. I now wear plastic gloves to wash my hair, and the problem is nearly gone.

HOWEVER… I’ve had a problem with ear canal eczema for years that even prescription creams wouldn’t touch, and it cleared up within days of starting to use this product. Days! Also, this stuff actually seems to heal split ends – I have hair down to my waist, and haven’t had to trim the splits (can’t even find them!) since using the Wen Lavender.

So good points: cleared up eczema, split ends gone.
Not-so-good points: have to wear gloves in the shower, still a greaseball, and it’s really, really expensive.

Here’s why….it didn’t do everything it promised. Yes, my hair feels great. Yes, it looks healthier. Not much different in volume though. I have thin hair and need product to give it some oopmh. Some people say it’s easier for them to skip a day in between washes. For some reason I can’t. I have noticably unwashed hair if I do.
So while I’m not in love with it, I can’t bring myself to use regular shampoo now. In the shower, your hair feels amazing. You will notice an immediate difference from that standpoint. I tried the multi pack to see which cleanser worked best for me. Fig was the worst. The almond was really good, but the lavender seemed to work best for me.
I didn’t have bad hair to begin with, just thin and I wanted it to look thicker. There is definitely improvement.
Definitely worth a try. Use more product than less if you’re unsure of how to use it. And leave it on the entire time you’re in the shower.
